IF the affiliation with Tampa comes to an end, I hope damn near everyone (players, coaches, and management) scatters to the wind so that if our new Admirals ever have to face that team, it will be as foreign to us as any other.

Chad O I have a question for you and everyone else in the boards if they wish to answer.... This has just got my curiosity.... would any of the players from this years team if broken up would receive any applause or anything for the season they had with us?? Not trying to start a fight or anything just kind of curious what people would think..... would they be appreciative of the hockey they gave us or are they the enemy and get boos just cause they moved where their bosses told them to?

I'd give them a standing ovation when they hit the ice, and I'm quite certain they'd return the salute. After the game started though, all bets are off.

I'm not sure what you're implying, but the answer to this is easy.

I cheered for Parrish tonight.

I cheer for Wishart when he comes to town.

I cheer for any former Admiral no matter what team they happen to land on.

That being said, what answer were you expecting?  And what are you going to do when Conacher get traded away or takes advantage of his free agency and makes a move away from the organization?

Chad like I said I was not trying to start any fights or arguments...it was just a curiosity question no right answers and I was not looking for anything...When conacher gets traded away or goes someplace else to free agency i will still cheer for him and hope that he plays great hockey that he can play...I was just looking for peoples opionions thats all...I also agree if he plays against the ads, I will cheer for him until the puck drops and then all bets are off... chill out man...not implying anything...

Whoa, that's actually pretty damn funny.  I do wish folks were less sensitive but I guess the internet isn't always a happy place.

All the guy said was that he wasn't sure what was being asked. I don't think it is Chad being sensitive here. Haha.

As others have said, I will cheer for some. Actually, I am indifferent to most. The only two I really cheer for are Leighton and Ryan Craig. Bit, I've got nothing against the others. Most of the former admirals I would cheer for are up in the NHL now...

Well maybe I was the one being sensitive and read to much into it... Sorry ChadO if you read this did not mean to ruffle feathers..That's cool Roman I was just curious to see how everyone thought of the former ads and to see how they would react if this whole team stayed together next year and then had to play in the scope as a visitor

Both.  Look at Mike McKenna, the goalie for Binghampton last night.  He used to play for us and was called up to Tampa Bay.  He recorded a shutout while playing for them and was the talk of the town down there.  Then it went Kaput for him.
He was the third star last night and he took a big turn on the ice acknowledging the honer and the fans.
When he was announced as a Star player, he was initially booed, but then applauded by quite a few fans.

I'd like to think that those of us who were cheering him nearly drowned out the newcomers who were boo-ing just to be heard and didn't know anything about McKenna. He stayed on the ice long enough to let fans know he heard them and mentioned it later on Twitter.

Yeah. I didn't cheer or anything at first but when I heard all the booing I started cheering and clapping so he'd know that A. he played a hell of a game in my opinion (like it matters what I think) and B. that we remember him and his time here. I was actually pissed he had such a good game though. haha

The PA announcer actually announced that McKenna was a former Admiral after the boos started. Fortunately the cheers took over shortly after. I cheered....the guy played a hell of a game. Hopefully he doesn't play this Saturday....I'd hate it if we had to hang another L on him Smiley
