SCP- Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Thread

To all those Penguins "haters" out there, be warned.  A Canucks fan asked a popular twitter personality yesterday afternoon if the Penguins were going to take up golfing soon (this is right after the Pens deservedly lost to the better Flyers).  Needless-to-say, said Canucks fan experienced karma up close and personal, and the subsequent "hey, remember when you said that?  how's that working out" attention he was paid cheered up Pens fans everywhere.

Why do I bring this up?  Well for one, because it was funny as heck reading the stuff last night.  Two, fans of certain teams who could just as easily be dispatched in the first round should take heed and be gracious in the "ribbing" they distribute, lest karma pay their team a visit as well.

I will say this, for the record, so no one thinks I'm being bitter.  The Flyers were the better team throughout the series and deserved to win.  I can't make excuses for the Pens because as a team they just plain sucked.

You know what Scott, luv ya man, but ... I all I have to say NanNaNa Boo Boo to you... after YEARS of having to watch you post over and over again about how the Caps suck in playoffs, your Penguins have been eliminated two years in a row in the first round.... so Karma may bite me in the ass on Wednesday, but I didn't expect much from the Caps anyways with how their season went, so I am okay with that... but for now

Rangers in 4, I think this will be the only sweep of the entire first round
Caps in 7, ugh while in my mind I know Bruins will take it, my heart just can't let me type that here
Devils in 5, the Panthers are still a joke to me... they went 2-8 in their last 10, barely hung on to SE title
Pitts in 7, This is going to be a great series and thats coming from a person that hates both teams.

Boy was I super wrong. I got the CAPS/BRUINS in 7, but wrong about the winner.

My comments on the PIT/PHI series were just embarrassingly wrong. Stupid internet and opinions being permanently stored...
